Helmsley Walled Garden will once again open the garden gates with free entry for all as a way of giving back and thanking you all for your continued support throughout the 2025 season.
We are very excited to welcome Finn Varney, a local apple aficionado, who will be giving a traditional apple pressing demonstration in the orchid house throughout the day.
Join Helmsley Walled Garden for this interactive experience as you discover your favourite flavours during the apple pressing. Hand-selected fruits from our orchard will be milled and pressed using traditional, hand-powered equipment. You will have the opportunity to taste a variety of single-juice flavours and try your hand at creating your own unique blend. Everyone is welcome to participate and enjoy the process!
The garden shop will be filled to the brim with beautiful gift ideas, including seasonal books and cards.
