The Nolon Stacey Gallery
Opened in 2024 in Helmsley’s Barkers Yard, the Nolon Stacey Gallery showcases Nolon’s finely detailed pencil and charcoal drawings, alongside limited edition prints, dog portraits, and greetings cards. Complemented by pottery from Elisabeth Bailey and bronze resin sculptures by John Rattenbury, it’s a space where wildlife art and local craft come together.
Restaurant Mýse
In the historic village of Hovingham, Michelin-starred Restaurant Mýse offers a British tasting-menu experience from chef and sommelier couple Joshua and Victoria Overington. Rooted in North Yorkshire’s terroir, the ever-changing menu blends foraged ingredients and local produce with an elegant reimagining of traditional Yorkshire cooking — all served in a beautifully restored 19th-century inn with rooms to stay the night.
Studio 573
Studio 573 is a creative pottery studio on Bridge Street, led by acclaimed ceramicist Iona Crawford-Topp of Iona Ceramics. Offering taster sessions, multi-week courses, and artisan tableware inspired by the coast, it’s also the home of Iona Ceramics — where you can browse and purchase her distinctive, handmade pieces.

Set within 6 acres of scenic countryside, our stylish two-bedroom Victorian railway cottage offers a peaceful escape with stunning views, a wood-fired hot tub, and elegant interiors. Perfect for couples, it combines tranquillity with convenience, just a short walk from the heart of Helmsley and the picturesque village of Harome. Coming in Spring 2026 we will have 4 luxury cabins too.
